The recent comments by Donald Trump in response to individuals who have attacked him can be characterized (at best) to be unconventional.
Here are the three possible reasons for his behavior:
1. Strategic
He views any media coverage as good so his provocative comments get him free publicity
2. Personality disorder
He is so egotistical and cannot stand being put down by anyone that either
a. he cannot control himself and must respond
or
b. he can control himself but doesn't think his insults will matter so he does it anyway
3. Compromised
He is secretly colluding with Hillary Clinton to throw the election to her
Let's hope for the country's sake that the answer is 1 and not 2 or 3.
